We LOVE the annual short trip out to Tuttle Orchard and especially picking wonderfully delicious Cortland apples not sold in stores (they don’t keep long– we cut and dehydrate dozens)! Sean takes hold of the camera to do the play by play and even some interviewing. I think he may be a natural at this.
Everybody (except sick me: hello-bed-all-weekend) went down to Nashville Tennessee to see cousin Conor Murphy compete in a national gymnastics event. See what jumping out of the tree onto the family trampoline can lead to? Thanks to videographer Sean for filming this and other clips.
Every Easter the Midwest family members and friends gather at Stacy’s mom’s house (formerly Ms. Barb Barnett, now Mrs. Barbara Meyer, as of June 2006). So, this video is chalk full of lots of people [you likely don't know], including Cori and boyfriend Ben (in the movie beginning) as well as Cori’s Purdue friends, extended family and friends.
The main event isn’t covered here, but it is the traditional adult-centric Easter egg hunt. One hollow plastic egg stuffed with a fair amount of cash is craftily hidden by the lady of the house. Then, one by one, clues to its whereabouts are provided. Did I say craftily hidden? This year it was covered by soil at the bottom of a pot containing a live plant. Past years it’s been found in a resealed paper milk cartoon, inside a large hollowed candle, and baked into a bundt cake.
Mom (Stacy) does a take down on one son and defends against all retribution. Dad (Mark) is obviously fond of the spontaneous action shots (don’t even ask Cori about enduring those “random taping days” of the distant past…)
