Erin (No. 38) and her JV lacrosse team takes on the dreaded Park Tudor team on quite a frigid day! This video is suitably short and hard to follow. But after Cori’s couple years playing and now Erin’s, I still can’t quite follow it, so there.
One comment though that seems to carry through women’s lacrosse: it’s big difference from men’s lacrosse is that there “isn’t supposed” to be any player/player/stick contact. The downside of this rule is that there are about 200 referee whistles — freezing all players in their places — due to a stick getting within six inches of another player’s head or something.
Why not give the girls the pads and full helmets that the boys have, and let them go at it?
Erin shows off her serving prowess at the Team Indiana match. I also manage to catch her sprawling across the floor to pick up one of those great digs about which she’s famous (in my mind).
Erin plays her first club volleyball season as a setter (she’s Irish too, don’t you know). I love watching Erin play! She is a consummate player who puts in 110% effort. Watching her work the floor, serve lots of well placed balls, and especially when she spends so much “floor time” after — diving across the court to dig balls — makes me proud!
